Gosh I shall never be out of this section, I have very strange dreams on a regular basis.

Last nights was more normal but still stressful. I live in Egypt and I dreamt that there was an earthquake and my block of flats collapsed. My parents contacted the embassy and they came looking for me, I and my cat had survived but my husband died. When they dug me out of the rubble,I looked around the whole town was just a wasteland. I was on a stretcher clutching my cat but they wouldn't let me take my cat so I refused to go and was sitting on a pile of rubble saying "but my cat can't look after himself".

That is all I remember. So what do you make of that?

Hi, This dream has a rich symbolism, you feel that your current life is unsettled and uncertain, perhaps you have been through a life changing stressful period or had a loss of status in your town (hence the wasteland imagery). You feel you must be the strong one in your relationship with your husband (you survived but he didn't) or that your hubbies heart is not 100% in it. The fact that your parents rescued you speaks to yearning for childhood and child like insecurities. The cat could truly refer to your cat or cats can represent pride the fact that you would not let the cat either speaks to fear of losing your cat (childhood insecurity over a lost pet perhaps) or fear of losing your pride which may be preventing you from taking a much needed course of action.
Thats how I would interpret it anyway

WOW

I'm promoting you to dream expertish Big Grin It is amazing what you can tell just from a dream.

If I posted any of my dreams though I think it would just confirm that I am a complete loony Tongue
Thank you **blush**
Dream imagery is very intricate and seldom means what it appears to there are loads of factors. I am sure you are not a looney, I have had a few corkers myself especially when I am stressed. LOL
As far as dreams go, I can generally interpret them myself but I'm not sure about this one at all.

The dream started in what I would suggest was the 1970's, judging by the clothing/uniforms of the people involved. I was the mother of and had murdered my two children, a girl and a boy, I'm not sure how, or where the bodies were, but I did it, There was a link to the armed forces, army I think - red collars on the dress uniform.
Then the dream shifted forward in time, to the present, and I was in the same building as previously, quite industrial, and I was with someone else, I think it was my partner. I remember saying 'There are two spirit energies here, can you see them? and he could'nt, which is about right! I saw two green/yelow lights, the spirits of the two children. Then I shifted my attention to a spot/hatch in the ceiling, and the image if a girl with long wavy blond hair appeared, in a beautiful dress, followed quite hesitantly by the image of her brother. I got the names Charlotte and Ethan (If it was'nt Ethan it was something like Aiden etc..) and there were comments like ' Mummy was angry' etc.. it was really upsetting whilst I was dreamng it - I do the lucid dreamng thing. - Anyway, things moved on, and to cut a long story short, there was another body, this time of a much younger child (less than 1 year old - a boy I think) in a freezer, but with some kind of carving with it (face down, kind of funeral mask). And I was questioning the father about their murder, tring to prove that their mother was not to blame.
I'm wondering whether this was in fact a dream, or a replay/premonition of things to come? It was really disturbing, as the names that the children have have no revelance to me personally.
Just glad to have shared.
