I seem to be selling a lot of these herbs recently. I understand that valerian is used for insomnia and sleep disorders and Vervain can be used in the treatment fo depression.

But do they have any other uses?

Valerian can also be used for IBS.
Vervain tea can also be used for menstrual pains and to aid digestion. It can also be combined with other herbs to treat colic and sinusitus.
I have never used either herb as a curative so cannot speak to their effectiveness. However with the stressful economic conditions and exam time approaching I am not surprised your selling a lot of these.

I must do some research this weekend into what all the herbs I sell actually do or are used for.

These two herbs are my most popluar so it's nice to know what they can be used for Big Grin
All I want to say is be careful with Valerian as it can be poisonous if too much is digested/absorbed and even fatal. Though I do think I would favour valerian over vervain.
From what I have been told both smell to high heaven so I am definatly keeping well clear of them Tongue
