Synaesthesia is a complex matter where instead of the usual input of information being identified by the mind e.g. sounds as sounds! They are also seen as colours.
This I have experienced somewhat when in a heightened state and listening to stimulating music.
Some people who have synaesthesia also interpret words using taste, scent or even different sounds.
Most agree with each other as to what sounds look like whether a letter a word or musical notes.
Peoples names containing colours within the red spectrum being the most popular.
A BEING AN ORANGY TONE AND J BEING RED.
